Arizona Supreme Court decision to outlaw abortion is ‘justice for the innocent,’ says Dr. Alex McFarland
‘The pro-life movement cannot rest until every single child is protected from the violence and horror of abortion’
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Pro-life advocates are rejoicing at a recent Arizona Supreme Court ruling to uphold a 160-year-old law that outlaws abortions in nearly all circumstances. The law would also make it a felony for anyone who “provides, supplies or administers [an abortion] to a pregnant woman… with intent thereby to procure the miscarriage of such woman, unless it is necessary to save her life,” potentially carrying a prison sentence between two and five years. The Biden Administration released an official statement in response to the decision, stating, “This ruling is a result of the extreme agenda of Republican elected officials who are committed to ripping away women’s freedom.”
Despite the White House’s dismal response, much of the nation is celebrating the strengthened protection of the unborn. Founder and President of Alex McFarland Ministries Dr. Alex McFarland commented on the groundbreaking ruling, urging other states to follow suit and enact more stringent abortion laws.
“Praise God for the lawmakers in Arizona who just ensured that millions of unborn children will have a chance at life,” said McFarland. “President Biden claims that this law is ‘ripping away women’s freedom,’ but what about the rights and freedoms of those who have yet to be born? The age of the law is irrelevant — it is the justice for the innocent that is worth celebrating. It is my fervent prayer that other states follow in Arizona’s shoes and put similar laws into place. The pro-life movement cannot rest until every single child is protected from the violence and horror of abortion.”
