Event This Weekend in North Carolina Welcomes Todd Starnes, Lauren Green, Josh McDowell, J. Warner Wallace and Others
GREENSBORO, N.C.—Religion and culture expert, national radio host and author Dr. Alex McFarland is just days away from the 2018 Truth for a New Generation (TNG) conference with the theme of “Save a Nation” this weekend, March 23-24.
“With morality on the decline in our nation, only Christians can talk about moral truth, because truth is from God,” McFarland said. “At the Truth for a New Generation conference, we’re teaching people to defend the truth, and we are joining Christians of all backgrounds to pray for the nation, because there are definitely forces that want to destroy this country. The only hope for America is the Christian family and the believing family of God. We can all be a part of this faith community—the family of God—and it is all based on Jesus.”
Joining McFarland, who is also Director for Christian Worldview and Apologetics at the Christian Worldview Center of North Greenville University (NGU) in Greenville, South Carolina, will be Fox News hosts Todd Starnes and Lauren Green, legendary apologist Josh McDowell, faith investigator J. Warner Wallace, “Counter Culture Mom” Tina Marie Griffin, former jihadi Kamal Saleem, American Family Association (AFA) Public Policy Analyst Abraham Hamilton III, and Juan Valdes, who leads a Spanish-speaking congregation in Florida and the ministry Reasons for Hope.
This year’s conference will also feature a screening of the AFA feature-length film, “The God Who Speaks,” for which McFarland was a contributor, as well as a VIP “Gold Circle” seating, which will allow participants to interact with the speakers.
