Author and Apologist Explores God’s Providential Plan for the World at Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove March 22-24
GREENSBORO, N.C.—As Americans look at a very uncertain world, with little that is secure, God has a 100 percent track record in keeping His promises and He lovingly offers help for everyone to prepare for life—and for eternity.
Religion and culture expert, national radio host and author Dr. Alex McFarland will explore this very assurance at a special event at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove next month.
“The Old Testament book of Daniel and the New Testament book of Revelation each reveal things about world history—and the future—that only God could know,” McFarland says. “Their prophecies can be a source of motivation, warning and assurance. They can also be an apologetic persuasion for non-believers. I’m excited and honored to explore the vital relationships between prophecy, Christ’s Great Commission and our walk with Jesus at The Cove.”

Attendees will study God’s providential care over the world and see His merciful, redemptive hand at work, as well as get clarity on which events today may relate to these two prophetic books and be equipped to answer common questions—and objections—regarding prophecy. Participants can also anticipate Christ’s return in a deeper way and strengthen their commitment to evangelism.
McFarland, the author of 18 books with another on the way, is the creator of the successful Truth for a New Generation (TNG) national and regional apologetics conferences, which aim to help students, parents, youth pastors and community members lift up this young generation, pray for them and empower them to stand strong in their faith.
McFarland was also recently named the National Student Movement Director for the National Day of Prayer (NDOP). With the 2019 theme of “Love One Another,” NDOP aims to mobilize unified public prayer for America.
