TNG Gatherings Will Reach Thousands of Teens and Young Adults Over Next Two Years
GREENSBORO, N.C.—Religion and culture expert, national radio host and author Dr. Alex McFarland is planning several regional Truth for a New Generation events around the country in the coming months.
TNG has been a national apologetics conference hosted by McFarland for the past two decades. The first of the regional events will kick off Sept. 14-15 at New Vision Life Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Speakers at the Tennessee event will include author and apologist Josh McDowell, faith investigator J. Warner Wallace, radio host and author Meeke Addison, pop culture expert and “Counter Culture Mom” Tina Marie Griffin, and former jihadist and current Christian evangelist Kamal Saleem.
“We are thrilled to bring the Truth for a New Generation events to people around the country, and we are inviting some of the most well-known and respected apologetics speakers in the nation,” said McFarland, who is also Director for Christian Worldview and Apologetics at the Christian Worldview Center at North Greenville University. “For many years, TNG has enabled attendees to be motivated and equipped to share the faith. Now, we are blessed to be able to reach even more with the truth of Christ to help bring light to this dark world.”
Other Truth for a New Generation events in the coming months include: Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Oct. 26-27, 2018; Houston, Texas, February 2019; greater northwest Arkansas, March 2019; Richmond, Virginia, September 2019; Wichita, Kansas, October 2019; tentative Israel trip, November 2019; Phoenix, Arizona, February 2020; Jacksonville, Florida; March 2020; Cincinnati, Ohio, September 2020; and Tupelo, Mississippi, October 2020.
