Abortion is ‘kind of’ murder, says Bill Maher; but pro-life advocates ‘cannot compromise’ values to save the unborn, says Dr. Alex McFarland
‘There are literally millions and millions of lives that depend on our steadfast resolve to fight for unborn rights’
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Talk show host Bill Maher went on the record to ridicule the “shifting” Republican stance on abortion, noting, “A lot of people think [abortion is] murder. That’s why I don’t understand the 15-week thing. [Former president Donald] Trump’s plan is, ‘Let’s leave it to the states.’ You mean, so killing babies is OK in some states? … I can respect the absolutist position. They think it’s murder, and it kind of is, [but I’m] OK with that.” Maher’s repugnant comment was in response to the recent Arizona Supreme Court ruling to outlaw abortion in almost all circumstances, which has been met with harsh outcry from the liberal media.
Many pro-life advocates are outraged at Maher’s acknowledgment and outright dismissal of the murder of millions of innocent children, yet gratified to hear a major pro-choice media figure declare that abortion is more than the discarding of an insignificant clump of cells.
“The pro-abortion realists have always known the truth — that an unborn baby is actually a person — but have chosen their own political agendas and personal comfort over the rights of the innocent,” said Founder and President of Alex McFarland Ministries Dr. Alex McFarland. “As horrifying as it sounds to hear Maher callously discount the lives of innocent children, it’s the shocking reality of the far Left. As for Maher’s dig at the ‘shifting’ allegiance of the pro-life campaign, let’s be clear on one thing. Abortion is murder in every sense of the word. Any attempt to downplay or disregard human life as just a ‘cluster of cells’ is just a smokescreen over the violence of abortion.
“We in the pro-life camp cannot compromise our position — there are literally millions and millions of lives that depend on our steadfast resolve to fight for unborn rights. Every single life has inherent, God-given value.”
