Christians can change the course of this nation for the better, says Dr. Alex McFarland

‘If we see wickedness in our culture and have the ability to enact change and then fail to do so, what does that say about us’?

GREENSBORO, N.C. — With the upcoming 2024 presidential election looming, the majority of Americans are preparing to cast their vote and make a change for the future of America. Republican voters in particular are hoping to overturn the Democratic sway in the political arena and reinstall former President Donald Trump in office. However, a recent poll revealed that as many as 104 million people of faith, including 32 million self-identified Christians who regularly attend church, are unlikely to vote in the upcoming 2024 presidential election on November 5, mainly due to lack of interest. At least half of the participants stated that their one vote probably wouldn’t make an impact and have grown weary of the controversial nature of the voting process.

This sizable percentage of the population failing to vote could make or break the election, according to youth, culture and religion expert Dr. Alex McFarland.

Christians who can vote and choose not to are in a state of disobedience,” said McFarland. “We are called as believers to be good stewards of all that God has given us, including our citizenship. If we see wickedness in our culture and have the ability to enact change and then fail to do so, what does that say about us? It is our duty as the body of Christ to make a difference in the Kingdom of Heaven. There are over 200 million Christians in America. If Christians went out to the voting booths in full force, we could have any election we want! We have the opportunity to change the course of this nation for the better — the time to act is now.”

To help Americans discover how to bring God into the voting booth and be a force for change, Alex McFarland and Alex McFarland Ministries released a powerful new voter guide, Faith & Freedom: Voting With A Biblical Worldview.” This guide is designed to give Christians, especially first-time voters, a resource so that they can bring God into the voting booth and be a positive force for change.

Alex McFarland currently co-hosts Exploring the Word on the American Family Radio Network, airing daily on nearly 200 radio stations across the U.S. He is also the host of the “Alex McFarland Show,” which airs weekly on NRB TV and YouTube. The “Alex McFarland Show” podcast is available here.

McFarland and theologian Bert Harper, veteran cohosts of the nationally syndicated broadcast Exploring the Word, are proud to announce the launch of their latest book, “100 Bible Questions and Answers for Families.” A follow-up to their previous work, “100 Bible Questions and Answers,” this powerful new book promises to guide through some of the most common challenges and queries people have about God, the Bible, and Christian living.
