Vermont decrees parents should ignore biology and common sense by not calling their children ‘sons’ and ‘daughters’.
‘Children may not be old enough to understand the brainwashing they are experiencing, but we as the ones charged with protecting their innocence should be appalled by this agenda,’ says Dr. Alex McFarland.
GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Vermont Department of Health released a statement asking citizens to refrain from referring to children as “son” or “daughter” — their biological gender — and instead use gender-neutral language. The goal of this outrageous request is to make families more “inclusive” and “resist oppression.” “This is especially important in settings like classrooms, afterschool programs and sports teams. Using language that includes everyone helps children feel seen, respected, and valued no matter how their families are structured,” commented the department.
This ridiculous decree further emphasizes the ludicrous measures government authorities will go to in order to placate the liberal agenda, according to youth, culture and religion expert Dr. Alex McFarland.
“Unfortunately, this news from Vermont is only the latest in a long line of authorities attempting to rewrite the rules of the world designed by the Creator,” said McFarland. “Normalizing ‘inclusive language’ is just another way to ‘throw off the shackles of the Creator’ (Psalm 2). Children may not be old enough to understand the brainwashing they are experiencing, but we as the ones charged with protecting their innocence should be appalled by this agenda. Future generations will be confused, angry and outraged by this Orwellian nightmare — as they should. It is time for America to wake up and see the damage these policies will inflict upon vulnerable children.”
Alex McFarland currently co-hosts Exploring the Word on the American Family Radio Network, airing daily on nearly 200 radio stations across the U.S. He is also the host of the “Alex McFarland Show,” which airs weekly on NRB TV and YouTube. The “Alex McFarland Show” podcast is available here.
McFarland and theologian Bert Harper, veteran cohosts of the nationally syndicated broadcast Exploring the Word, are proud to announce the launch of their latest book, “100 Bible Questions and Answers for Families.” A follow-up to their previous work, “100 Bible Questions and Answers,” this powerful new book promises to guide through some of the most common challenges and queries people have about God, the Bible, and Christian living.
