What Dr. Alex McFarland saw at the Republican National Convention: ‘Christians are standing for Christ and praying for their country’

Christians of all stripes must render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s, and vote

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump and the recent Republican National Convention (RNC) seem to have jarred massive numbers of Christian voters to think more critically about the spiritual condition of America. Is God’s judgment upon us, and what actions should Christians take? One thing for certain is Christians must vote.

For those looking for genuine, biblical voting guidance, Dr. Alex McFarland and Alex McFarland Ministries now offer Alex McFarland Ministries’ voting guide for new voters, “Faith & Freedom: Voting With A Biblical Worldview.” With its special emphasis on voters who have never voted, or who haven’t voted in a long time, this guide empowers believers to think like Christians in the voting booth and be a force for change.

“By default, if you are of voting age, you will support one of the two parties even though you have three options, out of three options there will only be one outcome,” says McFarland. “In a perfect world, the Republican party would be exclusively Christians, but we are not in a perfect world. For Christians struggling to support the Republican party right now, they have to think, why would I vote for a party (the Democratic Party) that is compromising; and if I don’t vote, I have added support to an atheistic Marxist organization that is the Democratic Party.

“As we vote this election season, we are not voting for the perfect person, we are voting for someone who will return Christian values back to the country and the grassroots of America back to the forefront. After attending the Republican National Convention, I personally saw many Christians stand up for Christ and pray for their country.

“God is using Trump to open the doors for Christians. His life being spared on July 13 was a miracle for our nation and a miracle for Trump. Christians are enthusiastic about lining up with Trump because of his strength, fortitude and track record. They see he will open the doors for people to freely express their faith.”

Alex McFarland Ministries’ innovative voter guide offers 10 questions to inspire further thought and contemplation while voting, as well as handy tips for voting day. Additionally, the guide addresses the importance of evangelical turnout for such an important election.

“We are blessed with the right to vote in this country, but so many people take it for granted. The Church cannot sit idly by and allow the nation to fall into lawlessness and chaos,” McFarland notes. “There are millions of believers currently horrified at the direction this nation is heading, yet they believe the lie that their voice doesn’t matter and therefore fail to vote.

“It’s time for Christians to pray outside the box, calling out to God and asking Him to show up quickly and in bold ways, even for a nation that has pushed Him away. We must pray with fervor, especially for the direction of this country, and rediscover what desperate intercession really is. If we ever hope to see this nation return to its Christian roots, then we as believers must pray and fight for biblical ideals… including at the polls.”
