Do we really vote our values? Alex McFarland Ministries launches voter guide for first-time voters
‘If we ever hope to see this nation return to its Christian roots, then we as believers must pray and fight for biblical ideals… including at the polls’
GREENSBORO, N.C. — With the 2024 presidential elections quickly approaching, many first-time voters, many of whom will be Christians, are wondering how to cast a vote that reflects their true values. For those who are looking for solid, biblical guidance, Dr. Alex McFarland and Alex McFarland Ministries are proud to announce the launch of Alex McFarland Ministries’ first-ever voter guide, “Faith & Freedom: Voting With A Biblical Worldview.” This powerful guide, with special emphasis on those who may not have voted in the past, empowers Christians to discover how to bring God into the voting booth and be a force for change.
“As Christians, we have a sacred duty to engage in the public square and let our voices be heard,” commented McFarland. “For too long, evangelicals have been sitting on the sidelines and allowing this once-great nation to fall prey to secular humanism and moral anarchy. Voting is not just a right, but a responsibility — an act of faith and stewardship. By voting based on our biblical values, we can help shape our nation’s future and advance the cause of Christ. This voter’s guide is designed to equip you to vote with confidence and conviction.”
The innovative guide offers 10 questions to inspire further thought and contemplation while voting, as well as handy tips for voting day. Additionally, the guide addresses the importance of evangelical turnout for such an important election.
“We are blessed with the right to vote in this country, but so many people take it for granted. The Church cannot sit idly by and allow the nation to fall into lawlessness and chaos,” McFarland noted. “There are millions of believers currently horrified at the direction this nation is heading, yet they believe the lie that their voice doesn’t matter and therefore fail to vote.
“It’s time for Christians to pray outside the box, calling out to God and asking Him to show up quickly and in bold ways, even for a nation that has pushed Him away. We must pray with fervor, especially for the direction of this country, and rediscover what desperate intercession really is. If we ever hope to see this nation return to its Christian roots, then we as believers must pray and fight for biblical ideals… including at the polls.”
