Dr. Alex McFarland launches ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’ video challenge to emphasize the real reason for the season

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Despite being labeled “the most wonderful time of the year,” the holiday season can be a stressful time for many. Nearly one-fifth of Americans report a rise in loneliness around the Christmas season and 38% of people report a noticeable amount of stress increase. Unfortunately, these negative emotions can cloud the real reason for the season, causing people to focus on the hustle and bustle and forget the miraculous birth of Christ.
Youth, culture and religion expert Dr. Alex McFarland and Alex McFarland Ministries are proud to announce the launch of “The 12 Days of Christmas” video challenge to help believers remain focused on the true meaning of Christmas.
“Do you feel pulled in too many directions this time of year? So many people feel that way,” said McFarland. “Maybe you’re drowning in the festivities, or you just want to be proactive about keeping your attention on celebrating the Savior who came to earth as a baby. That’s why I’ve created ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’ video challenge — to help believers stay focused on the miraculous gift of Christ. While we should be reveling in our joy at the coming of the Savior of the world, Satan has nurtured a society that focuses on everything but that. ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’ video challenge is a powerful way to refocus the family on what really matters this holiday season.”
