Baton Rouge Conference on Oct. 26-27 Empowers Believers to Stand for Christ in All Areas of Life—in School, Parenting, in Workplace, at Church and in Politics
GREENSBORO, N.C.—Christians are bombarded with messages from all sides telling them how to think. But there’s really only one voice they need to hear.
Religion and culture expert, national radio host and author Dr. Alex McFarland helps Christians to look to Jesus Christ first and foremost as they deal with a multitude of issues in a complicated culture. His upcoming Truth for a New Generation (TNG) conference near Baton Rouge has a razor-sharp focus to do just that.
Set for Oct. 26-27 at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, 19421 Greenwell Springs Road in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, Truth for a New Generation gives believers the tools, knowledge and confidence to stay up for their faith in all areas of life—in school, while parenting, in the workplace, at church and in politics.
“We may think we can’t squeeze one more thing into our schedules by attending an event that will take up 36 hours of our life, but the truth is, we can’t afford not to learn more about the ways we can defend our faith,” McFarland said. “Our very way of life—all our commitments and all we hold dear—is directly impacted by how we are able to practice and express our faith in Jesus Christ. If Christians don’t get on this train, our lives will quickly veer off the path Christ has set out for us. We will regret the day we chose not to engage and stand up for our faith when we had the chance.”
For nearly two decades, McFarland has hosted TNG conferences nationally. Now, regional events featuring the nation’s best minds in apologetics will have the same goal to encourage Christians to pray for their country and their state and activate to bring revival to the land.
Joining McFarland in Baton Rouge will be national radio host and author Michael Brown, faith investigator J. Warner Wallace, Church For All Nations senior pastor Mark Cowart, American Family Association host Meeke Addison and “Counter Culture Mom” Tina Marie Griffin, along with Ryan Bomberger, speaker, journalist and “factivist;” Daniel Ritchie, speaker and author of “My Affliction For His Glory;” Brett Kunkle, speaker, author and founder of MAVEN; and Juan Valdes, apologist and theologian.
