Jennifer has had the joy of knowing Alex and Angie for over 25 years and about 9 years ago, she had the privilege of joining the team. Jennifer assists with the bookkeeping and serves on the board of directors. Jennifer excelled in the monumental task of converting our many lists into a real database program. She has attended many of our live events to help with registration and book sales. Jennifer and her husband John have been married for over 46 years, and they are blessed with not only grandchildren, but great-grandchildren. They reside in NC’s Guilford County.
Amy is originally from a small town in Michigan, and she earned her business degree from Michigan State University. Amy and her husband Tony have served in full-time ministry for more than 30 years in various roles, including 10 years as missionaries in Bulgaria. In addition, Amy sold retail advertising for The State Newspaper in Columbia, SC and for Homeschool Enrichment Magazine. Jonathan got his start serving nonprofit ministries with one of the best—Samaritan’s Purse. After that, God sent him out to help other ministries thrive using the knowledge and skills gained during those years of service. And whom should he meet by sovereign chance but Alex McFarland—who promptly offered him a job. Jonathan and his lovely wife are from Louisiana, but they’ve roamed the country serving Jesus and lived in several states. Today, they enjoy making disciples of their three little ones and gardening.
Over the past two years, Kim has been honored to serve in various roles at Alex McFarland Ministries, and she currently manages Alex’s busy schedule and contributes to various events. With 12 years of experience as an event coordinator for a national homeschool conference, she excels in organizing large-scale events. Outside of work, Kim and her husband, Charlie, are actively involved with Landmark Cincinnati’s outreach programs, supporting the homeless and addicted in their community. Married for 33 years, Kim and Charlie reside in Cincinnati and frequently travel to visit their family in North Carolina.
Linda Kiger enjoyed a 33-year career as a public high school English teacher, librarian, and in-car driver’s education instructor. She has taught Sunday School to a diverse range of age groups, from toddlers to the elderly and chaperoning youth trips (despite the less-than-ideal bunk bed arrangements). Linda began supporting TNG/AMM in 2021 when Alex was serving as the interim pastor at her church. In November 2023, she became the inaugural TNG Ambassador. Linda finds immense joy in sharing the ministry’s mission to lead lost souls to Christ, and she values connecting with donors over the phone and in person. Linda is deeply grateful for the blessings in her life and the chance to contribute to such a meaningful cause.
