This is a question many Christians ask when they study end-times prophecy. Revelation 19 describes the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, a celebration between Christ and His redeemed people. Some wonder whether believers who come to faith during the Tribulation will be included, or if this event is only for those saved before the Rapture.
To understand the answer, it helps to remember that salvation has always been by grace through faith. Ephesians 2:8–9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith… not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Those who turn to Christ during the Tribulation are just as fully saved as believers today. They belong to Christ, they are part of His redeemed family, and their names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb happens in heaven after Christ gathers His Church. However, everyone who belongs to Christ will be with Christ. Jesus made this promise in John 14:3 when He said, “I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
Tribulation believers may arrive in heaven at different times because many will suffer martyrdom. Revelation 7 describes them as “a great multitude” who “washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” They stand before God’s throne, worshiping Him along with all other redeemed people.
Whether they join the Marriage Supper at the same moment as the Church is less important than the truth that they will share in eternity with Christ. No one who belongs to Jesus will ever be excluded from His joy or His kingdom.
The heart of the issue is that God does not divide His children into different levels of believers. All who trust Christ, whether before or during the Tribulation, will celebrate with Him forever.
