Dr. Alex McFarland set to speak with Charlie Kirk on the tragic spread of American ‘uncommon sense’
Based in South Carolina, the Alex McFarland Speaker Series is designed to inspire critical thinking skills to turn the tide of American culture
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA founder and CEO, recently spoke on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” to discuss President Trump’s tariff strategy, noting that the “economic ruling class” has been proven wrong about trade policies and highlighting the economic victories so far in Trump’s second tenure as president. Kirk’s work through Turning Point has opened the door for in-depth and jarring — yet necessary — political and spiritual discussion about the future of America. Due to his steadfast stance, Kirk is often the victim of ruthless attacks from liberal radicals, most recently on a widely-viewed episode of South Park that attempts to ridicule Kirk’s work on college campuses.
On August 21, youth, culture and religion expert Dr. Alex McFarland is set to speak with Charlie Kirk on the topic of “uncommon sense” at the upcoming Alex McFarland Speaker Series in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. McFarland and Kirk will explore the critical intersections of thought, truth and policy in a robust conversation that challenges emotions with facts and encourages a reasoned approach to contemporary issues.
“Charlie Kirk is a young man who both loves his country and his fellow Americans,” said McFarland. “However, something Kirk fails to do is compromise on the truth — something the rest of the country should be doing as well. I am honored to speak with Charlie about his work in the public space and how other believers should be fearless in their faith in God, this nation, and the future.”
The Alex McFarland Speaker Series is designed for anyone eager to engage with pressing issues and navigate the complexities of modern thought using solid information and timeless wisdom. Christians will have the chance to reflect on the evolving dynamics of political leadership and learn to defeat the movements and social currents that encourage Christians to walk away from critical, well-informed thinking.
Alex McFarland currently co-hosts Exploring the Word on the American Family Radio Network, airing daily on nearly 200 radio stations across the U.S. He is also the host of the “Alex McFarland Show,” which airs weekly on NRB TV and YouTube. The “Alex McFarland Show” podcast is available here.
McFarland and theologian Bert Harper, veteran cohosts of the nationally syndicated broadcast Exploring the Word, are proud to announce the launch of their latest book, “100 Bible Questions and Answers for Families.” A follow-up to their previous work, “100 Bible Questions and Answers,” this powerful new book promises to guide Christians through some of the most common challenges and queries people have about God, the Bible, and Christian living.
Alex McFarland has authored or co-authored more than 20 books, including the newly released “100 Bible Questions & Answers for Families,” “10 Issues that Divide Christians,” “The God You Thought You Knew,” “10 Answers for Skeptics,” “10 Answers for Atheists,” “The 21 Toughest Questions Your Kids Will Ask About Christianity,” published by Focus on the Family, and more.
