GREENSBORO, N.C. — Experts are growing increasingly concerned that Gen Z, those between ages 14-29, are choosing not to have children, either due to the rapidly rising cost of raising children or feeling unqualified. The decision to forego parenthood coincides with the recent resurgence of young adults back to the Christian Church, making this a unique opportunity. What does it mean for the Church if young believers choose not to raise families in the faith?
As a youth, culture and religion expert, Dr. Alex McFarland, founder and president of Alex McFarland Ministries, urges Gen Z to not fear the calling of parenthood in order to raise the next generation of believers.
