Three-Day Event with Renowned Author and Religion/Culture Expert Will Focus on Book of Colossians, Rich with Truth About How to Defend the Gospel
CHARLOTTE, N.C.—One of the main lessons author and religion and culture expert Dr. Alex McFarland (www.wordpress-829333-4268594.cloudwaysapps.com) wants to share about apologetics is that it’s not about apologizing at all.
Next month, McFarland will delve into the timeless truths from the biblical book of Colossians when he speaks at a three-day apologetics event at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville, N.C., on July 28-30.

Apologetics, a defense of the faith, is just as important to evangelism and discipleship now as it was when Paul wrote his letter to the Colossians. With McFarland to guide them, attendees will dive into this book rich with truth about Jesus Christ and discover how to defend the Gospel in today’s world.
Leading worship for the three-day event will be Stephanie Seefeldt.
McFarland is a co-author of the new book, “Abandoned Faith: Why Millennials Are Walking Away and How You Can Lead Them Home,” which explores why millennials are leaving the church, instructs how those who love millennials can bring them back, and offers the hope of Christ to parents of young adults.
