March 21 Event Featuring ‘Starnes Country’ Host in Greensboro, N.C., Will Help Equip a New Generation to Stand ‘Unashamed’ for Christ
GREENSBORO, N.C.—Todd Starnes has covered some of the biggest stories of the past 10 years—from presidential campaigns to the culture wars—interviewing an array of newsmakers and celebrities.
Now, the best-selling author, broadcaster, writer, reporter and commentator will join religion and culture expert, author, evangelist and national host Dr. Alex McFarland for the 2019 Truth for a New Generation (TNG) annual banquet.

Truth for a New Generation exists to equip Christians with a biblical worldview through conferences and camps that feature some of the world’s leading apologists, Christian writers and evangelists who have spoken at some of the nation’s top award-winning conferences.
A popular Fox News commentator and columnist, Starnes is heard daily on hundreds of radio stations around the nation. Starnes also makes regular appearances on Fox News Channel, including on “Fox & Friends,” and on Fox Business Network. He is the author of several books, including “The Deplorables’ Guide to Making America Great Again,” “Dispatches from Bitter America” and “God Less America,” and is a frequent speaker. He is the host of the three-hour, daily “Todd Starnes Show” on Fox News Radio and has covered a number of high-profile stories, taking him from Wall Street to the White House. McFarland has also been a guest on his newest television show, “Starnes Country,” which airs on Fox Nation.
Starnes has been the recipient of a regional Radio Television Digital News Association’s Edward R. Murrow Award and an Associated Press Mark Twain Award for storytelling. In 2014, he was awarded the National Religious Broadcaster’s Board of Directors Award. This year, Truth for a New Generation has several apologetics conferences planned around the country, which aim to help students, parents, youth pastors and community members lift up this young generation, pray for them and empower them to stand strong in their faith.

Admission will be non-perishable food items to be donated to a local food bank. Plans are also in the works to host an event at Fort Bragg Military Base.

In 2019, McFarland also has a leadership role for the National Day of Prayer on May 2. As the National Student Movement Director, he will work to mobilize students in every state to commit to unifying in prayer with their peers.
