Marie Griffin at Two-Day Event This Weekend in North Carolina
GREENSBORO, N.C.—For 25 years, Juan Valdes has been reaching believers in two languages by teaching critical thinking and philosophy. This weekend, he will bring that expertise to the 2018 Truth for a New Generation (TNG) conference organized by religion and culture expert and author Dr. Alex McFarland.
The upcoming event is set for this Friday and Saturday, March 23-24, at Life Community Church, 4900 W. Wendover Ave., Jamestown (the greater Greensboro area) in North Carolina.
“We can’t wait to hear Juan Valdes’ message of hope and truth at this weekend’s apologetics conference in Greensboro,” said McFarland, who is also Director for Christian Worldview and Apologetics at the Christian Worldview Center of North Greenville University in Greenville, South Carolina. “All of this year’s Truth for a New Generation conference speakers have an amazing voice and perspective, and their talks will undoubtedly energize attendees to take action with their own faith every day.”
Valdes, who is also an author, is a bilingual speaker for Reasons for Hope and senior pastor of a Spanish-speaking congregation in Miami, Florida. With over 25 years’ experience teaching critical thinking and philosophy, he brings dynamic speaking and writing to Reasons for Hope.
Also joining McFarland at the Truth for a New Generation will be Fox News hosts Todd Starnes and Lauren Green, legendary apologist Josh McDowell, faith investigator J. Warner Wallace, American Family Association Public Policy Analyst Abraham Hamilton III, “Counter Culture Mom” Tina Marie Griffin and former jihadi Kamal Saleem.
The new Truth for a New Generation app is now available on Apple/iOS and Android devices and will provide relevant information about the 2018 TNG conference. This year’s conference will also feature a screening of the American Family Association feature-length film, “The God Who Speaks,” for which McFarland was a contributor, as well as a VIP “Gold Circle” seating, which will allow participants to interact with the speakers.
