Christians must fight for the future of America before it’s too late, urges Dr. Alex McFarland

‘If we ever hope to see this nation return to its Christian roots, then we as believers must pray and fight for biblical ideals — including at the polls’

GREENSBORO, N.C.As the nation prepares for the upcoming 2024 presidential election, many are growing increasingly concerned at the lack of evangelical turnout. With many evangelicals failing to cast their votes at the polls, Christian interests are falling by the wayside, according to Chad Connelly, founder and CEO of Faith Wins. The solution is clear — pastors and other leaders of the faith must actively encourage believers to vote for Christian ideals. Without a personal conviction to get out and vote accordingly, Christians often fail to make their voices heard, resulting in the decline of Christian ideology in America.

The heart of the nation must begin within the Church, according to the Founder and President of Alex McFarland Ministries, Dr. Alex McFarland. Any failure to act on behalf of the Church will result in a divorce from the biblical foundations this country was built upon, argues McFarland.

“If we ever hope to see this nation return to its Christian roots, then we as believers must pray and fight for biblical ideals — including at the polls,” said McFarland. “We are blessed with the right to vote in this country, but so many people take it for granted. The Church cannot sit idly by and allow the nation to fall into lawlessness and chaos. There are millions of believers currently horrified at the direction this nation is heading, yet they believe the lie that their voice doesn’t matter and therefore fail to vote. This kind of apathy is exactly why America has been overrun with ungodly, liberal ideologies.

“To my fellow believers — the time to stand up, put on the armor of God, and fight for a biblical future in this nation is now. If we don’t speak up for the Gospel, we will soon find ourselves willing participants in a nation totally void of God’s favor.”

Alex McFarland currently co-hosts Exploring the Word on the American Family Radio Network, airing daily on nearly 200 radio stations across the U.S. He is also the host of the “Alex McFarland Show,” which airs weekly on NRB TV and YouTube.
