NYC’s mayoral vote for democratic socialist Mamdani portends the ‘demise of our great nation,’ says Dr. Alex McFarland

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Self-identified democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani has won the Democratic primary for New York City mayor, undermining former Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s attempts to run as the Democratic candidate. Mamdani promises to “reject Donald Trump’s fascism” and “govern our city as a model for the Democratic Party.” Mamdani’s victory is raising red flags for everyone who fears the rise of socialism and potential Islamic extremism across the nation.
“The situation certainly seems bleak,” said youth, culture and religion expert Dr. Alex McFarland. “The Bible tells Christians to submit to our governing authorities, but it’s a challenge to watch the demise of our great nation. The NYC mayoral race now seems to point to a Muslim socialist victory with Zohran Mamdani taking the helm. We are watching from a distance what’s happening in London; can New York City be used as an example of God giving us instruction and teaching through unconventional methods? There’s no denying that we as a nation endured Joe Biden’s bumbling presidency and then learned from our mistakes — Trump back in the White House is proof of that. But New York City is now poised for disaster.”
