Christians must unite to reverse Islamic momentum in America, warns Dr. Alex McFarland

Ministry leader calls for repentance, prayer and bold action to protect nation’s Christian foundations and constitutional freedoms

GREENSBORO, N.C. Recent investigations revealing the expansion of Islamic enclaves and parallel Sharia systems in states like Florida, Texas and Minnesota have prompted an urgent call from Dr. Alex McFarland, founder and president of Alex McFarland Ministries, for Christians across the U.S. to unite, repent and pray for national revival to counter what he describes as a profound threat to the nation’s heritage.

Drawing on exposés by investigative journalist Amy Mekelburg of the RAIR Foundation USA, McFarland highlighted instances where taxpayer funds are fueling Muslim Brotherhood-linked networks building separate healthcare, education and community systems that prioritize Sharia compliance over American laws.

In Florida, for example, organizations tied to documented Muslim Brotherhood figures have received over $18 million in state vouchers since 2015 to operate schools integrating Islamic teachings, including Quran memorization and gender norms, while partnering with individuals linked to federal terror cases.

“Christians in the U.S. have been too slow to realize the historic threat of internal Islamic enclaves,” said Alex McFarland. “If the momentum of Islam in America is not reversed, we will lose our country. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Indonesia and Malaysia were once Buddhist and Hindu. Syria, Jordan, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon and others were once majority Christian. All are majority Muslim now. Soon, many European countries will be described as having previously been Christian. Islam does not tolerate other faiths or ideas.”

Mekelburg detailed in recent reports how Tampa’s Islamic Tampa Area Muslim Professional Association (iTAMPA) is establishing a Sharia-governed healthcare network, steering patients exclusively to Muslim providers and aiming for full independence from non-Islamic systems. The launch event, held at a taxpayer-supported school, featured discussions of replicating Texas’s self-contained Islamic enclaves, complete with Sharia-compliant institutions.

In Minnesota, the Dar Al Mustafa Center celebrated converting a 150-year-old church into a mosque complex, including prayer areas, classrooms and recreational facilities, as part of a broader pattern of acquiring Christian sites. Similar conversions in Texas, such as a Dallas church turned mosque with fundraising by a radical imam tied to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, underscore the trend.

McFarland emphasized that such developments signal a deeper incompatibility.

“Christianity and the U.S. Constitution cannot co-exist with Islam,” McFarland said. “The Constitution upholds freedom of religion, speech and equality, while Islamic doctrine, as implemented in these enclaves, seeks supremacy and submission, eroding our Judeo-Christian roots.”

He urged believers to repent for complacency and engage in fervent prayer for revival, while advocating civic action: contacting lawmakers to end public funding for these networks, supporting investigations into foreign influences and voting to preserve America’s identity.

“This is a spiritual battle first,” McFarland added. “Christians must unite to eliminate the Muslim threat inside the United States through prayer, truth-telling and lawful resistance, lest we surrender our land to ideologies hostile to our faith and freedoms.”
