Socialism is a BIG LIBERAL LIE being swallowed by the American populace, warns Dr. Alex McFarland

‘Let’s not be foolish enough to think that an economic system with a 100% failure rate will somehow work here’

GREENSBORO, N.C. Despite an illustrious history built on individual exceptionalism, many Americans are clamoring to instill socialism into American society. A new NBC poll now suggests that a majority of registered voters no longer approve of capitalism, with some even looking to socialism as an answer to their issues with today’s consumer society, despite knowing little about it.

This idealistic view of socialism is a well-crafted deception peddled by the Left, as noted in “The Left’s Top Lies of 2025,” published by The Federalist. According to youth, culture and religion expert Dr. Alex McFarland, the first step to dismantling the lies about socialism is to foster a sense of stability in the Biblical foundation on which this nation was built.

“All 25 of the topics in the Federalist article have the need to seek and know the truth at their core so that sound decisions can be made,” said McFarland. “Struck by the vastness of all about which we can disagree, Americans venture into 2026 at heightened sensitivity levels, ready to interpret events through their varied personal lenses and experiences for context. Would that an article in 12 months about the top 25 lies of 2026 be read by an increasingly large group of Christians and Americans who discern truth from everything else?”

“I am calling Christians and Americans (those were once more closely aligned than modern revisionists want us to believe) back to the Lord and His view, which is the only infallible one. As we interpret and understand world events and issues, Jesus is our true north and the Bible our compass for navigating issues from the moral to the economic, those of peace and conflict, and from the day-to-day to the eternally consequential. There should be no separation of the Christian mind between biblical reasoning and worldview reasoning when addressing today’s issues. The year 2026 will be marked by an increasingly profound need to know what you believe, interpret what the media and government present, and make decisions based on truth. God and His truth are immutable, providing the Christian with guidance not based on the whims, manipulations and perversions of the day,” said McFarland.

“Those who think that socialism is a valid option for our nation need to seek and know the truth at their core so that sound decisions can be made. Think about it: can you name a socialist country that has a higher standard of living for the people? In my book ‘The Assault on America,’ I document that socialist/communal living had been tried and banned some 80 times in the U.S. before 1900. Let’s not be foolish enough to think that an economic system with a 100% failure rate will somehow work here,” McFarland concluded.
