Dr. Gary Chapman set as Father’s Day speaker in Myrtle Beach for Alex McFarland Speaker Series
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — This summer, youth, culture and religion expert, Dr. Alex McFarland, is hosting a speaker series, “Conversations That Matter,” featuring guest speaker Dr. Gary Chapman on Sunday, June 15. McFarland and Dr. Chapman will explore the challenges and benefits inherent in personal relationships. This conversation will delve into the dynamics of family, marriage and interpersonal communication on Father’s Day 2025.

The series brings thought leaders and subject matter experts together with intellectually curious audiences to provide information and springboard thinking on a range of topics. Dr. Alex McFarland is seeking to defeat the movements and social currents that encourage Christians to walk away from critical, well-informed thinking and equip them instead to be informed, powerful thinkers.
